1. Definitions

• "Service" refers to The Neural Post website, API, mobile applications, and newsletters.
• "Content" means all articles, data visualizations, code, images, and AI-generated insights provided through the Service.
• "AI Services" refers to our machine learning models, predictive algorithms, and automated synthesis tools.
• "User" or "You" refers to any individual or entity accessing the Service.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using The Neural Post, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. Accounts & Access

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are suspected of fraudulent activity.

Enterprise Seats

Enterprise subscriptions are seat-based. Sharing login credentials outside of the assigned seat count is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination of service without refund.

4. Subscriptions, Fees & Payments

Billing: Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law.

Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

API Usage: API access is subject to rate limits and overage fees as defined in your specific plan. Overage fees are billed monthly in arrears.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by The Neural Post and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

6. AI & Data Usage

Our Service utilizes advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) to generate, summarize, and analyze content.

• Nature of AI: AI models are probabilistic. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may ostensibly sound correct but be factually erroneous ("hallucinations").
• Non-Reliance: You agree that any AI-generated insights, predictions, or summaries are for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as professional financial, legal, or medical advice.
• Feedback Loop: Usage data (such as clicks, dwell time, and interactions) may be used to train and improve our models. We do not use your proprietary private data for public model training without explicit consent.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Systematically scrape, mine, or extract data from the Service (web scraping) without API credentials.
• Reverse engineer any of our pricing algorithms or AI models.
• Use the Service to generate competing news products or datasets.
• Harass, abuse, or harm another person or group.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE NEURAL POST DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES. IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL.

9. Governing Law & Arbitration

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in San Francisco, California, except for claims for injunctive or equitable relief regarding intellectual property rights.
